As we all know, SQPIG Christmas ornaments are not new. Beautiful glass ornaments were used to decorate trees in the early 1800s such as Ceramic Material. They were very special glass ornaments and they cost a bundle. This meant only the wealthy could purchase them. That was a luxury only for the few.
The first mass produced Christmas ornaments came from Germany much later. They were these little, colorful tin ornaments, just like when creating Easter Decoration. There are a lot of different molds that may manifest in any shape, size and color. You can purchase it in the stores and even make these at home, which is a big time fun.
Yarn Pom-Poms: Start by making a circle out of cardboard first. First, simply wrap yarn around the cardboard until it is suitably thick. Gently slide the yarn off the cardboard and then tie a piece of string around your strands in order to secure them. Now, cut the loops on both ends of your yarn. Fire up Toys means puff it all out and sew a bit of cord to hang on your tree. Personal touch is always awesome.
Paper Snowflakes: Cut a square piece of paper and fold it in half, diagonally forming your usual triangle. Then fold it again in half to create another triangle. Trim the edge, and then cut various shapes along the top. After you unfold it, below is what your snowflake will look like. It’s like magic, same with making a Flower Dome.
Make SQPIG salt dough Christmas ornaments: Mix 1 cup of flour, 1/2 cup salt and ½cup water to get soft dough. Roll it out and cut shapes with any cookie cutter. Allow the correctly molded mushrooms to dry for 1-2 days before painting and adding a little string through them to hang. So even through hand-made you can still have hobbies to create some of those special ornaments.
