Lighted pumpkins

Jacko was one happy pumpkin about Halloween. He’s even in his most favorite time of the year. His favorite things about this day were to dress up as a someone else, something he did by wearing costumes and joke-or-treating around his neighborhood with his friends’ collecting tons of candies, but most importantly pumpkin carving so it looks creepy. Jacko wanted to do something a little different this year. Rather than carve pumpkins, he made illuminated ones.

Illuminated pumpkins are an incredibly fun way to make the Halloween season a bit more chilling. They are just plain old pumpkins with the guts scooped out (seeds and pulp removed from insides. After the pumpkin is hollow, you put a candle inside of it to make your pumpkins glow beautifully. Try different lighting- you could use candles or tea lights, and if that seems too scary for a children's night light there are battery operated lights available such as bright stars.
